OUR COMMITMENT TO

LEAVING A CLEAN WAKE

EXPERIENCE MORE
bg-image

Evene creates luxurious, superyacht tenders that provide an elevated experience to explore the most remote and exclusive marine environments in the world.

It is a commitment to crafting better boats, using better techniques and better materials – anchored in an acknowledgment of our changing world and a respect for the ocean. But this is a voyage, and there is a distance still to travel.

A growing sense of accountability

Our climate is changing, oceans are polluted, nature is in decline. Evene Tenders believes that the marine industry needs to take responsibility for the environmental impact of its products. We are focused on finding more sustainable ways for people to experience the earth’s oceans. Our vision is to move towards a climate positive business footprint, built using environmentally friendly materials, powered by zero emission propulsion systems.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations General Assembly comprising 193 member governments agreed the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015.

Evene selected 4 of the 17 SDG’s to provide a strategic framework for our sustainable actions, that encompasses all aspects of our business operations. We have developed a sustainability strategy that is based on this framework, which will be monitored annually to track performance and undergo a full review in 2028.

We will report on activities, showing our baseline scope 1 and 2 data, and use this to track our performance against our decarbonisation plans, with the aim of achieving Net Zero as quickly as possible.

Reporting & Management

A sustainability steering group meeting is held regularly to work towards embedding a responsible approach across the business. Separate project meetings are held to support the application of new technologies through Evene’s research and development team. Our sustainability roadmap and decarbonisation plans will be monitored and reviewed accordingly, to support our good governance processes.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

We are just starting out on the journey to transform our business to one which leaves a clean wake. We are committed to doing things the right way. Our quest for perfection in all we do means that there can be no shortcuts. This involves a detailed environmental assessment of our tenders to really understand the complete environmental impacts.

Join our journey

Evene tenders allow exploration of small coves, anchorages, and trips ashore. We are making every effort to produce your tender with a low environmental impact in the design, production, delivery, and even the end of life of the tender. At some point you may wish to sell or trade your tender, or after many years faithful service it may have reached the end of its life, all the steps below will ensure that it remains in tip top condition whilst in your ownership and that will make any part of that process much easier.

Efficient Helming
Your tender is fitted with a fuel management system that allows you to see in real life how much fuel you are using. For more information and tips on how to get the most economy from your Evene, view our guide here
Simple Maintenance
Every contact with sea water produces an increase in the onset of marine growth, so using fresh water, give the tender a good wash down after use to remove salt deposits. Read more here
Extra Weight
All Evene Tenders have a maximum carrying capacity marked on them and it’s important to never exceed that figure as any extra weight has an adverse effect on performance and economy. Read more here

Responsible features

Cork
As part of our strategy, we are committed to using more sustainable materials and production methods. Cork forests are a storehouse of CO2 which reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Cork also has a natural regeneration process, as well as lightweight, anti-slip, acoustic and insulation properties.
Eco Upholstery
The backing of our chosen eco-upholstery ranges are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. This process emits 12.5kg less of CO2, and eliminates 6.2kg of landfill waste per meter of fabric.
Petestep Hull
Evene Tenders have established a strategic partnership with Petestep®, who deliver patented hull technology for a softer, quieter and more stable ride in specific conditions. You will also experience lower consumption compared to a conventional hull due to less resistance. This means a lower fuel consumption and increased range, as less energy is required to propel the boat.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)
The approval of HVO100 in our boats (Yanmar 4LV engine) means up to 97% less net CO2 emissions compared to standard diesel fuel. This is based on DEFRA's condensed set of GHG calculations 2023. We are aware that CO2 emissions vary with feedstock and are working with our fuel partners to better understand impact.

Zero Emissions

Our vision is to move towards a climate positive business footprint, powered by zero emission propulsion systems.

In 2024, our sister brand, Williams Jet Tenders, launched the Electric EvoJet 70e, a technology demonstrator to showcase what we’re able to achieve with the very best componentry on the market. Find out more below.

Enduring design

Our research and development philosophy is geared around longevity, and we believe that the most responsible products need to withstand the test of time. By crafting better boats, using better techniques and better materials, our tenders are built to last, and we pride ourselves on offering a 3 year warranty with a claim rate of less than 1%.

As part of the process, many materials and parts of our tenders can be removed and replaced, ensuring your Evene is always looking pristine, and can be enjoyed on the water for as long as possible.

A lean supply chain

Evene strives to work with our supply and logistics providers to ensure their products and services constantly meet our high standards. We understand this is a collaborative journey, but we expect our vision to deliver a brighter future for our planet is mirrored by our partners. We welcome any industry contacts to approach us with ways we can improve, perhaps with new technology that has been developed, or a fresh line of thinking which is a good fit for our progressive approach.
